USTOA is not a tour operator and it does not conduct tours. Its members are distinquished tour operators who conduct tours both domestically and globally. What is the USTOA Annual Conference & Marketplace?

The member-only USTOA Annual Conference & Marketplace is more than just another networking event.

  • Active Members received the opportunity to learn about new destinations, hotels, and other travel services provided by the Associate Members.
  • Associate Members have an opportunity to interface with top executives from worldwide tour operators on a one to one, buy and sell basis, and really build meaningful partnerships that can take their business to the next level.
  • All Members will also be able to participate in (or attend) state of the art symposium that are both educational and interactive, and profit from the experience of industry leaders.
  • Keynote speakers and expert panel discussions will help inspire and educate you to adhere to best practices, be an early adopter of trends and help you expand your global business.

Where Will This Year's Conference Be Held?

The 2012 USTOA Annual Conference & Marketplace will take place December 6-8 at the Hilton Waikoloa Village in Big Island, Hawaii. All activities, both social and professional, are planned to give Associate Members plenty of opportunities to meet with some of America's most respected and renowned tour operators.

How Can I Register For the Conference?

The Conference information is distributed to current Members of USTOA in July each year when registration opens. More information can be found in the Members Room area of the USTOA website.

If you are planning on attending this year's conference, USTOA must receive new members' application forms and annual dues by October 15, 2012 in order to register before the deadline date which is November 1, 2012. If you want to join and be listed in the printed 2013 USTOA Annual Membership Directory, USTOA must receive your membership application and membership dues by August 30, 2012.

Who Can Attend the Conference?

The conference is open only to delegates from Active Member and Associate Member companies of USTOA. Your company must be a current member of USTOA and annual dues paid for 2012 in order to attend.

If you are a USTOA Member: you first need to sign into MEMBERS ROOM to gain access to the secured online registration page and find more details about the conference. This information will be available in July, 2012.

If you are not a member, click "How to Join USTOA" to find out more information on our membership. If you plan to attend this year's conference, membership applications and dues paid in full must be received by October 15, 2012.

Conference Registration Fees

The conference registration fee is $875.00 (USD) per working delegate and $375.00 (USD) per spouse for Associate Members. Registration fees are subject to change before registration opens in July 2012. The conference registration fee does not include hotel accommodations or transportation arrangements.

The Hilton Waikola Village is offering our attendees a group rate of $189.00 USD per night (plus 14% tax). The closest airport to the hotel is Kona International Airport (KOA). The estimated ride time is 30 minutes to the hotel each way. Information on transportation services will be provided when conference registration opens in July.

Marketplace

The Marketplace provides a forum and more than a typical networking for USTOA's Associate Members to meet with top Active Member executives on a one-to-one, buy-and-sell basis. It is not a tradeshow with exhibit booths but one-on-one pre-scheduled appointments. Once you register and pay, you will receive information on how to make pre-scheduled appointments. All scheduled appointments are 12 minutes each.
