USTOA Board of Directors and some Active Members (27 out of our 47 operator companies attended the meeting) have just completed a most intense two-day Strategic Plan and Board Meeting.
Our objective was two-fold. First to review and update USTOA's Strategic Plan so that we could use this information in our search for an Executive Director; and second, to agree upon the logistics of conducting a thorough and all-encompassing search. Replacing Bob Whitley will not be easy, yet we know that there is a special someone out there who can help lead us to achievement of our goals.
We feel that our objective for the meeting was accomplished and now is the time to begin our search.
We are first doing an open call to all candidates that our members might recommend. If you have any names of any candidates for the position I ask you to have them contact me directly at Jstachnik@ustoa.com. It would be best if I received written correspondence at first, and we will research them accordingly as our direction becomes more clear. Needless to say, all information will be kept in the strictest confidence. A job description is not available at this time but will be in the coming weeks.
