SITA World Travel, Inc. is the latest tour operator to join USTOA, bringing the organization's total membership to 62 corporate members representing more than 160 brand names.
Headquartered in Encino, California, SITA operates first class and deluxe tours and packages to the Indian subcontinent, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, including cruises and luxury rail tours. Special events tours and packages feature solar eclipse tours, worldwide festivals, and sporting events. The company also provides convention and conference services. Plans for 2001 include new destinations such as Australia, New Zealand, the South Pacific, Turkey, Iran, Greece, Mozambique, and Central Asia.
Under the direction of Roger Mahil, Chairman/CEO, and Mokshinder Singh, Group President, SITA World Travel has been in business since 1933, and under the present ownership since 1982.
