NEW YORK - December 17, 2015 - New York-based Isram Wholesale Tours and Travel, Ltd. has completed a reorganization effective December 1, 2015 in which the company will offer travel to Israel exclusively under its Belder Gray brand. Belder Gray tours will focus solely on small luxury group departures with a philanthropic voluntourism experience.
All other Israel travel services will be marketed and sold by Isram Israel Touring Ltd., a long established and well known incoming tour operator in Tel Aviv, Israel who has worked with New York-based Isram for over 20 years. Tours booked by Isram Israel Touring, Ltd. are not covered under the USTOA $1 Million Travelers Assistance Program.
“Travel agents should be aware that client payments made to Isram Wholesale Tours and Travel, Ltd. prior to December 1, 2015 for tours to Israel are protected under the USTOA $1 Million Travelers Assistance Program. Client payments thereafter for these Israel tours (except the Belder Gray tours) will not be covered by the USTOA program,” advises USTOA President and CEO Terry Dale.
Although Isram Wholesale Tours and Travel, Ltd. no longer books tours to Israel except for the Belder Gray tours, it continues to be a USTOA member in good standing. Seven divisions of Isram Wholesale Tours and Travel, Ltd. continue their participation in the USTOA $1 Million Travelers Assistance Program. They are Latour, EuropeToo, Elite Travel Collection, Asian Vistas, Belder Gray, Prideworld and A Women’s View. Client payments held by these participants continue to be covered by the USTOA program.
